Blue Glove Open Summer is here, and with summer comes doubleheaders. Three players swept theirs in the opening round of play.
The spring's Group B finalist Alvaro Orlove kicked off the season with a tight 8-6 win in his first-ever meeting with newly promoted Group C winner Zain Khaishgi. Orlove added wins over Luke Mearns and Jack Mearns on Sunday for a three-match sweep.
Group A welcomed back Daniel Goldblatt with two wins, and Anton Botelho also swept his first two matches in Group C.
