PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: October 16, 2026
Last Updated: October 16, 2026

1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Tennis Central Corp (“Tennis Central,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tennis instruction, athletic programs, memberships, court reservations, camps, competitions, travel experiences, college-placement assistance, facility and program management, home-court services, racquet services, retail products, and related services.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with these activities and our websites, subdomains, applications, registration forms, customer accounts, booking systems, and other digital properties that we own or control and that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Services”). Our primary website is https://www.tenniscentral.us/.

This Policy covers adults, parents and guardians, minor participants, prospective customers, and other individuals interacting with the Services. A linked website or organization is not necessarily owned or controlled by Tennis Central. Independent third-party services are addressed in Section 16.

This Policy describes our information practices. It does not, by itself, constitute consent to marketing, recording, sensitive-information processing, children’s online information collection, athletic participation, medical treatment, travel, or publicity.

2. Information We Collect

The information involved depends on the Services you request, the features you use, and your interactions with us.

2.1 Contact, account, and family information

We collect information provided through inquiries, registration, bookings, purchases, accounts, and communications, including:

  • Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, and mailing or billing addresses.

  • Account credentials and account preferences.

  • Parent or guardian names, contact information, relationships to participants, and information needed to confirm authority.

  • Participant ages, birth dates, schools, grades, and family-account relationships where relevant to a program.

  • Emergency-contact and authorized-pickup information.

  • Communication preferences and consent records.

Please provide your own contact information when registering a child and identify separately any contact information belonging to the child.

2.2 Booking, participation, and performance information

We collect information associated with requested or delivered Services, including reservations, attendance, membership status, program selections, scheduling preferences, lesson history, tennis experience, skill assessments, goals, evaluations, competition entries, results, and coach observations.

College-placement assistance may involve academic information, athletic profiles, recruiting preferences, correspondence, and supporting materials provided or authorized for that purpose.

2.3 Payment and transaction information

We process purchase histories, amounts, invoices, payment status, refunds, credits, installment schedules, recurring-payment authorizations, and related transaction records.

Payment service providers process payment credentials and maintain saved payment credentials used for authorized transactions. We receive information needed to administer payments, such as transaction identifiers, payment tokens, payment-method type, limited account details, and expiration information.

Do not send complete payment-card numbers, security codes, or bank credentials through ordinary email, text messages, or general inquiry forms.

2.4 Health, accessibility, and emergency information

For safe participation, accommodations, and emergency planning, we collect relevant information supplied about injuries, allergies, medical conditions, medications, disabilities, accessibility needs, participation restrictions, medical clearances, and emergency instructions.

We seek only information reasonably necessary for these purposes. Please avoid submitting unrelated medical records or unnecessary diagnostic details.

Access to this information is limited according to operational need, including appropriate program personnel, emergency responders, and others involved in an authorized accommodation or emergency response.

2.5 Photographs, video, audio, and submitted materials

Information may include photographs, instructional recordings, competition footage, recruiting videos, performance-analysis materials, testimonials, messages, and other content submitted to us or created in connection with an authorized Service.

Publicity and promotional use are subject to separate permission where appropriate or legally required. Participation or acceptance of this Policy alone does not grant unrestricted publicity rights.

We do not use player recordings to create facial-recognition identifiers or voice-identification templates. We do not authorize identifiable customer or player information to be used to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.

2.6 Communications

We collect the content of inquiries, emails, texts, submitted messages, customer-support communications, and information voluntarily included in voicemail or other recordings you provide.

Our treatment of live-call recording, transcription, and AI communications is explained in Section 8.

2.7 Technical and usage information

When you access digital Services, we and providers supporting those Services may collect technical information such as:

  • Internet Protocol addresses and approximate location derived from them.

  • Browser, device, operating-system, and language information.

  • Cookie identifiers and similar technical identifiers.

  • Pages viewed, navigation activity, referring pages, and feature interactions.

  • Access times, error reports, security events, and performance information.

We do not need precise device location for ordinary website browsing. A feature requiring additional device permissions must present the relevant permission request.

3. Sources of Information

We receive information directly from you and, where relevant to the requested Service, from:

  • Parents, guardians, authorized family members, and emergency contacts.

  • Coaches, instructors, schools, clubs, facilities, and program personnel.

  • Tournament organizers, sports organizations, and publicly available competition or ranking records.

  • Colleges, recruiting contacts, and educational organizations involved in authorized placement assistance.

  • Travel organizers and transportation or lodging providers involved in an arranged activity.

  • Payment, booking, membership, communications, and other service providers.

  • Devices and browsers interacting with our digital Services.

Information received from a referral source, another family member, or a public record does not establish permission to send marketing texts.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information as reasonably necessary to:

  • Respond to inquiries and explain available Services.

  • Create and administer accounts, family profiles, bookings, and memberships.

  • Deliver instruction, coaching, evaluations, programs, and requested analysis.

  • Organize camps, competitions, tryouts, team activities, and authorized travel.

  • Provide requested college-placement, media, racquet, retail, or home-court services.

  • Process authorized payments, installments, renewals, refunds, and credits.

  • Communicate about reservations, schedules, weather, safety, billing, and program administration.

  • Provide accommodations and support appropriate emergency response.

  • Send permitted marketing communications consistent with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.

  • Maintain security, prevent fraud and misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve service performance.

  • Maintain business and consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.

We do not use health information, children’s information, or messaging-consent records for targeted advertising. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about an individual solely through automated profiling.

Coaching assessments and recommendations support human judgment and do not guarantee athletic, educational, or competitive outcomes.

5. How We Disclose Information

We disclose information for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to applicable restrictions and the special protections for messaging information in Section 9.

5.1 Providers acting on our behalf

We use providers performing functions such as:

  • Website hosting, content management, cloud storage, databases, and security.

  • Booking, scheduling, accounts, memberships, and facility management.

  • Payment processing and authorized recurring billing.

  • Telephone, email, text messaging, and marketing automation.

  • Customer support and limited analytics.

  • Sports, competition, recruiting, and travel administration.

These providers receive information needed for their work. We require appropriate limits on processing, confidentiality, security, and independent use. Engaging a replacement provider for substantially the same function does not authorize a materially different use of information.

5.2 Coaches, facilities, and program participants

We provide appropriate information to coaches, instructors, facility personnel, and program administrators to deliver the Services, manage attendance, evaluate development, address accommodations, and maintain safety.

Other participants receive information only as appropriate to the activity or a feature you choose to use. Registering for a program does not authorize unrestricted disclosure of your family’s contact or health information.

5.3 Independent organizations

Requested activities may require disclosures to independent organizations, including tournament operators, sports organizations, schools, colleges, recruiters, transportation companies, lodging providers, and other travel businesses.

Such organizations may determine their own processing purposes, including event eligibility, competition administration, recruiting, travel fulfillment, legal compliance, or security. Their own privacy notices govern information they process independently.

We distinguish these relationships from providers acting solely on our instructions.

5.4 Safety, legal obligations, and professional advisers

We disclose information when reasonably necessary and legally permitted to:

  • Obtain emergency assistance or address a credible threat to safety.

  • Comply with legal obligations, valid legal process, or lawful government requests.

  • Investigate fraud, security incidents, abuse, or unlawful activity.

  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

  • Work with legal, accounting, insurance, and other professional advisers.

5.5 Business transactions

Information may be evaluated or transferred in connection with a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of relevant business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards, applicable law, and the commitments in this Policy.

A business transaction does not independently authorize new marketing uses or transfer messaging consent for another sender’s promotional purposes.

5.6 Disclosures you direct

We disclose information when you specifically request or authorize it, such as sending an athletic profile or recruiting video to a college.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use necessary technologies to operate digital Services, maintain sessions, support transactions, remember appropriate preferences, and protect security. Limited analytics, where used, help us understand service usage and performance.

Advertising pixels, cross-site retargeting, and customer-list advertising audience uploads are not currently active.

Before introducing those advertising practices, we will update this Policy to explain the information involved, purposes, recipient categories, independent recipient uses, and applicable choices. We will implement required consent and opt-out controls before the relevant processing begins.

We do not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated businesses’ websites or applications.

Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies can interfere with account access, bookings, payments, or other requested features.

Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized universal opt-out signals will be honored where applicable to processing we conduct. Because advertising sale and sharing are not currently active, such signals do not disable technologies necessary to provide the Services.

A Do Not Track signal does not itself delete an account, cancel a booking, or withdraw a separately provided communication consent. Necessary service technologies remain subject to the purposes and limits described here.

7. Photographs, Recordings, and Publicity Choices

Instructional analysis, recruiting assistance, public competition coverage, and promotional publicity involve different purposes.

We use instructional or recruiting materials for the relevant requested Service and authorized disclosures. Promotional use of identifiable images, recordings, or testimonials is governed by an applicable separate release or permission.

For minors, required permission must come from an authorized parent or guardian. Declining optional promotional permission does not prevent ordinary participation.

You may contact us about withdrawing optional publicity permission. Withdrawal applies prospectively, subject to the applicable release and law. We will consider reasonable removal requests, but cannot guarantee recall of printed materials, independent third-party publications, or copies outside our control.

8. Live-Call Recording, Transcription, and AI Communications

We do not currently record or transcribe live telephone calls or use AI receptionists or AI-generated outbound calls.

If we introduce these functions, we will update this Policy before deployment as appropriate, identify the purposes and relevant provider categories, and provide required disclosures and consent procedures. Recording or transcription requiring consent will not begin before that consent is obtained.

An AI communication feature will be identified appropriately. Information collected through it will be limited to the disclosed service purpose, with a practical way to seek human assistance.

These restrictions do not prevent you from voluntarily leaving voicemail or submitting an audio recording for a requested Service.

9. Email and Text Messaging

9.1 Email

We use email for service communications and permitted marketing. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails through the unsubscribe mechanism or by contacting us.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary nonpromotional communications concerning an account, transaction, reservation, safety issue, or existing Service.

9.2 Text messages and consent

Text messaging may include customer-service replies, confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, weather notices, billing information, and separately authorized marketing.

Marketing-text consent is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase. Providing a telephone number, making a purchase, or accepting this Policy does not by itself establish marketing-text consent.

We retain information reasonably necessary to document consent, communication preferences, and opt-out requests.

9.3 Special restrictions on mobile opt-in information

We do not sell mobile opt-in information or text-messaging consent records. We do not share that information or consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be disclosed to service providers and subcontractors solely as necessary to operate and support the messaging program, subject to appropriate processing restrictions.

General disclosure provisions elsewhere in this Policy do not override these restrictions. They do not authorize the sale of mobile opt-in information or consent records or their disclosure for another party’s marketing or promotional purposes.

9.4 Messaging choices

Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance where replies are supported. You may also communicate a clear opt-out request through another reasonable method, including email or telephone.

We process clear revocations promptly, within applicable legal deadlines. We may retain a limited suppression record to help prevent further unwanted messages and document compliance.

Our Terms of Service contain additional Text Messaging Terms.

10. Children’s Privacy and Parental Rights

We provide programs for children, including children younger than 13. Registration for these programs must be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

Children under 13 must not independently create accounts, submit forms, upload information, or enroll in electronic communications. Parents and guardians should submit necessary child information through the applicable adult-controlled registration process.

Teen accounts and direct service communications require appropriate parental authorization. Marketing communications are directed to adults. Coach communications with minors should include a parent or guardian or use an approved, appropriately supervised communication channel.

Information submitted by an adult about a child is not automatically the same as information collected online directly from the child. Where the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act applies, we provide the required direct parental notice and obtain verifiable parental consent before collecting, using, or disclosing a child’s information, unless a specific legal exception applies.

We will not enable an under-13 direct-interaction feature without the applicable notices, permissions, safeguards, and policy updates. Separate parental permission will be obtained where required for disclosures beyond those necessary to provide the requested online service.

We do not condition a child’s participation on providing more personal information than reasonably necessary for the activity.

Subject to applicable law and appropriate verification, parents and guardians may:

  • Ask about information maintained about their child.

  • Review or request correction of that information.

  • Request deletion.

  • Refuse further collection or use.

  • Withdraw an applicable permission.

A request may affect our ability to provide a particular feature or safely deliver a requested program. Legal, financial, safety, or dispute-related records may need to be retained where permitted or required.

If you believe a child under 13 has independently provided information without required permission, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for its disclosed purpose and applicable legal, financial, safety, insurance, and dispute-resolution obligations.

Retention depends on the information:

  • Account and participation records support ongoing Services and reasonably necessary related administration.

  • Transaction records support accounting, refunds, taxes, and payment disputes.

  • Agreements and consent records document permissions and contractual obligations.

  • Health and emergency information is retained only as needed for participation, accommodations, incident management, or applicable obligations.

  • Instructional recordings and recruiting materials are retained for the relevant Service and authorized follow-up.

  • Marketing records are subject to communication preferences, while limited suppression records may be retained to honor opt-outs.

Children’s information is not retained indefinitely merely because storage is available.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it, deidentify it, or otherwise dispose of it appropriately. Backup deletion may follow ordinary controlled backup cycles, subject to any stricter applicable requirements. Legal holds or other lawful exceptions may delay deletion.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information and Services involved, including access restrictions and safeguards for sensitive information.

No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Protect your account credentials, use available security features, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. Avoid sending sensitive information through general-purpose communications when a more appropriate collection method is available.

13. International Activities and Processing

Tennis Central is based in the United States and actively recruits customers stateside.

International travel, competitions, and requested recruiting activities may require information to be transmitted to organizers, facilities, colleges, or travel providers outside the United States.

Information may also be processed where necessary service personnel or providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and restrictions. Laws in another country may differ from those where you live.

We do not treat the use of an international provider or participation in an overseas activity as permission for unrelated processing. Material changes in processing practices require appropriate notice, policy updates, and consent where required.

14. Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on your residence, the information involved, and whether a particular law applies, you may have rights to:

  • Confirm processing and access personal information.

  • Obtain a copy in a portable format.

  • Correct inaccuracies.

  • Request deletion.

  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on it.

  • Opt out of covered sales, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.

  • Exercise rights concerning sensitive or consumer health information.

  • Submit a request through an authorized agent.

  • Appeal a denied request.

We do not represent that every privacy statute applies to Tennis Central or that every right applies to every request. We will evaluate requests under applicable law and our stated practices.

Submit requests to booking@tenniscentral.net, call 202-478-9655, or write to the address in Section 18. Explain the request without including unnecessary sensitive information.

We may verify identity using existing account or contact information and request additional information when reasonably necessary. Parental requests may require confirmation of authority. Authorized agents may need to provide appropriate authorization. We will not impose identity-verification requirements on an opt-out request where prohibited.

We respond within applicable deadlines and explain permitted extensions, denials, or limitations. Where an appeal right applies, reply to the decision or contact us using the same contact methods and identify the request as an appeal. We will provide the applicable appeal outcome and any required information about contacting the relevant authority.

We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights.

15. Updating Information and Withdrawing Permissions

Please keep account, contact, emergency, and relevant participation information accurate.

You may request changes to communication preferences or withdraw an optional permission by contacting us. Withdrawal does not invalidate lawful processing already completed and does not necessarily require deletion of records we must or may lawfully retain.

Deleting an application or stopping attendance does not itself close an account, cancel a membership, or withdraw every existing permission. Those requests should be communicated separately.

16. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may link to independent booking experiences, organizations, facilities, competitions, travel businesses, retailers, or other websites.

Their independent information practices are governed by their own notices and agreements. Tennis Central does not control a third party merely because we link to it, recommend it, or participate in an event it operates.

When a provider processes information solely on our behalf, the relevant Tennis Central processing remains subject to this Policy.

17. Changes to This Policy

We will update this Policy when our practices materially change, including material changes to information collected, processing purposes, or disclosure categories.

We will revise the last-updated date and provide additional notice where appropriate or legally required. We will obtain consent before a new use when required.

A general reference to future services, replacement technology, or business changes does not authorize a materially different use without the required notice and permission.
