The Road to THE TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP 2023

Twenty-five players competed for a number of group championships over the weekend. 50 points were at stake in each because of the groupings of four-five players in each.
The most intriguing competition of the Saturday play was in Group C of the 10U tournament. Finn Jackson, Nicolas Kidd, and Max Radin all finished 2-1 thanks to a bye in the group, and they had each handed each other a defeat. But Jackson finished 7-3 in the scores among the players, while Radin went 7-7 and Kidd 4-7 to be the only deciding factor between them.
Jackson claimed his title by the skin of his teeth, while Sanjeev Sundar and Tennis Central's Deniz Ozenci, used to playing with regular balls instead of the 10U limitations, won in more straightforward style.
The 12U players indeed competed with regular balls in two groups. Cameron Lucci and Isabella Diaz took the crowns. Lucci continues his climb among the top 12U players in the Series, now tied with Ajay Chandela at 135 points in sixth place in the race to September 2023's Tour Championship.
At the 16U on Sunday, Rafi Cressall and Diego Levi went the distance, with Cressall prevailing in the match tiebreak to take the title.

Each weekend until Thanksgiving, Tennis Central is bringing you USTA and UTR tournaments at Holton-Arms School. Earn points for advancing through each round, just like on the pro tours, and qualify for the TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP at season's end.
Bigger events offer more points, with the TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP offering the most, as well as prizes.
